“THE KIWIS” —TO-NIGHT. The heavy booking at Paul's indicates that this evening a fitting welcome in the form of a bumper house w ill greet the one and only appearance at the Theatre Royal, Hamilton, of the widely-known and vastly popular “Kiwis," Brigade Entertainers, who did veoman service in entertaining the boys in the firing line in France, and are now devoting 40 per cent of t profits of the present tour towards a fund to .furnish medical attendance for the widowed mothers, the widows, and the orphans of deceased soldiers. Quite apart from its good purpose the entertainment to be presented stands on its merits as “the greatest entcitainment of its kind touring the Dominion.” This on the authority of the Auckland Herald. The programme embraces new songs, operatic numbms. interludes, quartettes, monologues, scenes, dances, specialties, female nupersonations and soubrette character isa tions. There is another satirical comedy ”Independence E’Gosh,” by James Mont gomcry Flagg, and a splendid Burlm Holmes picture of “Midwinter Sport in Quebec.” The programme is of un usual excellence. To-morrow’s chang' will feature Tom Mix, in his Fox Supe picture, “Hell Roarin’ Reform,” : thrilling Western drama, conspicuou for wonderful horsemanship and tons thrilling incidents.
