RIOTS IN EGYPT
RISING PRACTICALLY ENDED. A RECRUDESCENCE IMPOSSIBLE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received April 4, 5 p.m. LONDON, April 3. The Australian Press Association learns that the rising in Egypt has practically ended, and a recrudescence is impossible. The railways and telegraphs in Lower Egypt have been restored, and the situation on the Upper Nile is secure. A column, under General Huddleston, has reached Assuan.
