We held our monthly stock sale at Cambridge on Monday last, when we penned 1040 head cattle, with sheep and pigs in full supply. Beef sold at late rates; forward cows were in strong demand, and well-grown calves and 18-montds steel’s of good were in strong demand, and well-grown calves and 18-months steers of good quality wore required by buyers: Prices: Good fat cows, £ll' 12s Od to £l3 2s Gd; lighter, £9 17s (id to £lO 15s; unfinished cows, £8 5s to £9 2s Gd; store cows, £4 10s to £7: heavy hulls £l2 lo £IG; medium, £8 12s Gd to £ll ss; 18months steers, £5 Is to £5 IGs; 15months steers £3 Us to £4; strong calves, £2 Gs lo £2 15s; smaller, 18s to £1 10s; fat ewes, £1 4s to £1 ss; store ewes, 17s; store lambs, 8s 8d to 9 s 7d; cull lambs, 5s 9d. Pigs large porkers, £2 17s Gd to £4; medium, £1 19s to £2 8s; slips, 18s to £1 is; weaners, 9s Gd lo 15s.
