We have reached the west bank of the Somme opposite Brie and Peronne, and have captured Hem. Northward of Hem we are advancing on the general line from Cnnibles, to Morval, Bcnnleiwnirt and Kromcourl. Sharp lighting occurred on this front, where we inllieKl many casualties on the enemy, who attempted to delay our progress.
