STOLYPIN'S FUNERAL

Stolypin's remains were transferred to the Pacbersky Monastery amid the- ■demonstrations of mourning by the whole of the population of Kieff. The crowds knelt as the huge procession passed and the street was strewn with roses. The fatal bullet was borne on a cushion, along with the other emblems of the tragedy. "BOGROF'S UNHAPPY PARENTS." THE CZAR'S RESCRIPT. ST. PETERSBURG, Sept. 30, The lawyer Bogrof, who assassinated the late Premier (M. Sfolypin), has been handed over for trial by court martial. M. Stolypin, on his deathbed,, received the following telegram from "Bogrof's unhappy parents " in, Berlin :—" We are- horrified at the dreadful deed perpetrated by our senseless son. We pray Gcd for your complete recovery. The lather of the assassin was afterwards arrested: on the- frontier. The Tsar, in a rescript, states : " Expressions of indignation, reaching us from all sides, show that all right-minded people share our resentment at the ruthless outrage committed in onr presence upon the Prime Minister, my true servant and courageous champion, while at his post." The post-morte'TTv reveals that the bullet shattered one of M. Stolypins ribs and pierced his liver.
