FATALITY AT THAMES.
-—♦ DEATH FROM EXPOSURE. THAMES, November 17. A sad boating fatality occurred here, when a man named Bauer either died • from exposure or was drowned in the gulf. Bauer was fishing on Thursday night when a heavy gale sprang up, and it is thought the vessel was struck by the squall and overturned. It was reported that the boat had beer* capsized, and a search partv left. It found the Viking at anchor', with her masts gone by the board. and the body of the man was found near the cabin, which was rilled with water. The body was lashed to the bulwarks. It is presumed Bauer • lashed himself to the bulwarks to prevent himself being washed overboard, i and succumbed from exposure. i
