♦ RESIGNATION OF MR McCUBDY. WELLINGTON, This day. Mr A. J. McCurdy, organising secretary of the Farmers' Union, has resigned. It is understood the resignation was due to a difference of opinion between the secretary and the advisory board with regard to the policy of the latter in connection with the new Land Bill.
