AN OVERDUE STEAMER.

FEARED LOSS AT SEA. WELLINGTON, November 17. It. is feared that a small steamer, the Centennial, which left Launeeston on October 17th for Wellington and Napier, has been lost at sea. The vessel was purchased by Messrs J. Corry, of Napier, and N. Fernandas, of Wellington, and was intended for trawling purposes. So far as is known the crew were Captain- Reston, of Lyttelton, chief officer, Mr Herbert Rayner, of Melbourne, engineer, Mr Thos. Russell, of Launceston, firemen. N. Brand. 11. Nelson, J.
