MR LANG A PROBABLE CANDIDATE. (By Telegraph.—Special to Waikato Times.) AUCKLAND, This day. Of the names mentioned in connection with the Mannkau seat (rendered vacant by the death of Mr M. M. Kirkbride), that of Mr F. W. Lang, ex-M.H.R., for Waikato is most favored. It is believed his chances of election are most excellent, especially as the Government party vote is like]}- to be split owing to a multiplicity of candidates.
