ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This day. A young man named William Davis was accidentally shot in the back at Sumner, a bullet from a friend's revolver striking him and becoming embedded in his lung. He was taken to the hospital and is reported to be doing well, though it is impossible to extract the bullet.
