N.Z. EXHIBITION.
A meeting of the Waikato, Thames Valley and King Couutry Executive for the international Exhibition was held this morning in Mr Bond's office, Htmilcon. Present: Messrs J. S. B >nd, A. Bell, G. Edgecumbo, W. F. Mason and E. Veale. Mr Bond reported that the Auckland Committee had agreed to undertake the caretaking etc., of the Waikato Court for the sum of £IOO, and this the Committee agreed to confirm. A number of letters referring to ipromised exhibits were received. The District Traffic Manager wrote that no concession of free carriage could be given on exhibits locally carrried to Hamilton, only when sent direct to the Exhibition, aad so addressed. The estimated expenditure to cover the whole of the work and expense in connection with the Waikato exhibits was put at £350. Towards this about £290 has been promised in donations and contributions. There thus remains a further sum of £OO to be raised, and the committee appeals for ! additional help to make the whole exhibit : a complete success.
