SEDDON MEMORIAL.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLING) ON, This Day. At a meeting of the executive of the Seddon Memorial the secretary submitted a synopsis showing that 200 replies had been received from various parts of the colony as to the form the memorial should take. Of these 147 favoured a scheme of further technical scholarships, and 21 favoured the endowment of university soholarshipa. The executive decided to communicate with the Government asking what support were disposed to give the movement either by direct vote or by subsidising subscriptions.
