STRANGE DISAPPEARANCE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Napier, Thursday.

An Auckland girl of seventeen, attending the High School here, has mysteriously disappeared. She left the school at twelve o clock yesterday to lunch with a friend, but never arrived at the friend's house. The only trace of her in that she called and bought a box of matches at a store at tho Spit. The police have scoured the town and hills, but cannot find anything. Nothing whatever which might account for her disappearance can be found out.
