RAILWAY MISTAKES. Fencourt and Hautapu Stations.
TO THK EDITOR. Sir, — I beg to call attention to the fact that the names of the above stations remain still interchanged since the first opening of the Cambridge line. The time, however, is now at hand when, through the opening of the section to Oxford, there will be a re-cast and re-piinting of time-tables. If the various public bodies make representations at once, no doubt the necessary corrections will be made. It ought to have been made when the last re-cast was being printed, but I suppose nobody moved in the matter. Though Waikato residents probably know and guard against being led astray by the mistake, it is a duty we all owe to the travelling public to see that our finger-posts be correctly marked.— l am, yours truly, Wm. N. de Willis. S. Andrew's, Cambridge, February 12th, 188 G.
