Consols are at 103,\. The Bank rate of discount remains at 3, and the market at 2^ per cent. The total reserve of notes and bullion in the Bank of Eng land is £13,000,000, a reduction of £600,000 during the week. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 38 per cent. New Zealand securities are at the following prices :— 5 per cent. 10-40 loan, 107 i; 5 per cent 18S9 loan, 106; 4\ "per ceut. 1579-1904 loan, 1024 : 4 per cent, inscribed stock, 102J f . Colonial breadstuff's continue quiet at last quotations. Adelaide wheat is 003, ex warehouse, and New Zealand wlip.it, ex waiehouse, 46s to 50s ; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, is 3 is. The tofc.il quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,400,000 quarteis, an increase of SO.OOO quarters during the week. Australian tallow is at 42s tor best beef, and 44s 6d for best mutton.
