BOWLING.
RIVERTON CLUB’S DOUBLES.
Practically every member of the Club participated in these galores, and the weather being fine the whole series was completed last week, when King and Wilson met Bn'ddle and Bywer. Both rinks had played well throughout the competition, and in the early stages of the matches Buddie was seen to advantage both in his drawing and driving. King, also played some very careful games. Both were in all cases well supported by their leads. In the final match King opened with a one, then a two, the third, head being burnt. Buddile then scored three, and at the tenth head the scores were 10 all; then at the twelfth head 11 all. King, however, scored only one more, and Buddie went out with a score of 17.
