OTAUTAU STOCK SALE.

There was a large yarding of sheep at the stock sale on Friday, the quality being, in many eases the best. Ridding for a start, was fairly slow, bat as the sale advanced became very keen, good prices being offered for anything, of quality. So mo of the auctioneers recognised the 'fact that they had something special to offer in the lines from up country and were not slow to make the most of their chance. One of them made many elaborate speeches as to why it «*vas that buyers one and only chance of a. life time to secure what was. required. The sale goes to prove that good prices can always be obtained for anything with a name behind it.
