Moore, two men’s ground between island block claim, Pleasant Creek, Round Hill, and adjoining France and Goldie’s application. Geo. J. A. Richardson and others, six men’s ground, situated between Preston’s Gully and B. Dyke’s tail race. Bound Hill. Boss Robertson and others, extended claim of six acres, situated between left hand branch of Dawson’s Creek, and Sloan and Gillies’ workings. Bobert Gar vie and others, extended claim of six acres, adjoining Boss Robertson’s application. OCCUPATION LICENSE. Joseph Butler, five acres for dairy purposes, at Orepuki. WATEK BACKS. George Evans and Louis A. Bullion, commencing in main source of Pourakino river, and j-icking up on lino of race other branches of same river and Granity, Musquito, Cookson’s and other creeks, and terminating at a point near Port’s race, Gorge Creek, Longwood ; length, 16 miles. Estimated cost of construction* £3OOO- time required for construction, 12 months. Jobu McLeod and Malcolm James McDonald, commencing in Orawia river, throe miles above its junction with the Waiau, and terminariog at small spur, twenty chains above Evans and Lee’s store, Bound Hill; length, 27 miles. Estimated cost of construction, £7000; time required for construction, five years. DAMS. John McKenzie Henry, dam bank, six miles, from mouth of creek between Wilson’s river and Puysegur Point. TAIL EACES, Goo. J. A. Richardson and five others commencing near Perry and party’s claim, Bound Hill, and terminating at upper end of applicants’ claim, near Preston Gully. PROTECTION. Joseph Thurgood and others, 90 |days for claim and tail race at Round Hill. For hearing 17th April— WATER RACES. Bound Hill Syndicate (per George Evans, manager', commencing at a point in Stony Creek, Bound Hill, about half-a-mile above where Syndicate’s main race to Purakino crosses main crock, and terminating at syndicate’s main race to Purakino river i length of race, 40 chains. Bound Hill Syndicate, commencing at a point in second creek beyond, and forming part of main source of the Pourakino and picking up on lino of race other branches of same river, Granity. Mosquito, Cookson’s and other creeks, and terminating at a point on Syndicate’s special claim ; mean depth, 6ft; mean breadth, Git; proposed to divert 50 Government heads of water.
Round Hill Syndicate, commencing at 0 raw era end of Lake George, and terminating at a point on the Syndicate’s lino of channel, drawer a Va ley, Round Hill; length of race, one mile; depth, 3ft; breadth, Bfl ; proposed to divert 50 Government ! cads of water. FLOOD RACE. Round Hill Syndicate, from a point at the head of Syndicate’s main tail race, Drawers Creek, to a point where Orawora Creek discharges with the son ; width, two chains ; depth, 33ft.
