BOY MISSING

LEFT HASTINGS ON MONDAY INFORMATION SOUGHT Information concerning a boy named Maddox, who has been missing from his home in Omahu road since Monday morning, is sought by his parents and the Hastings police. An incorrect description of the boy was given over the radio yesterday afternoon. He is 14 years of age 'and four feet nine inches in height, not five feet four as stated in the broadcast description. He has fair hair and a fair complexion, and at the time of his disappearance he was wearing blue trousers, or blue denim overalls, and a grey shirt. He was employed by Mr Crawford, at Havelock North, and did not appear at work on Monday morning. Anyone having information' that may lead to discovering his whereabouts is 'asked to ring the police at Napier or Hastings.
