TIME OFF FOB VOTING ' PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEES (Per Press Association). TIMARU, Last Night. Hon. J. Bitch enter (Minister for Public Works) announced to-day that 1 all workmen, including co-operative contractors employed by his department, would be granted sufficient time' off from work with pay on election ‘day to recolrd their votes at the nearest' polling booth.
