Mr Mitchell Hepburn, Liberal Premier-designate of Ontario, caused a stir to-day by announcing that he “would get along in the legislature without the Lieutenant-Govem-GT. The Liberal Party had just won the provincial elections. Bad feeling seems to exist between Mr Hepburn, who is a poor farmer, and Dr Herbert Bruce, the millionaire Governor of Ontario. Mr Hepburn intimates that he will ask the chief justice of Ontario to officiate at any necessary ceremonies, and will have nothing to do with the Governor, who, he suggests, might resign with great profit to the community
