4 DEPRESSION MOVING OFF SCATTERED SHOWERS LIKELY (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The general inference is that the depression responsible for the recent disturbed weather is moving off New Zealand and an anti-cyclone is approaching across the North Tsisman Sea. The forecast is for moderate west winds, backing temporarily to south-westerly; weather nuiinly fair but scattered showers are likely; seas rather rough.
