AN ENGLISH RESULT CITY AND SUBURBAN HANDICAP LONDON, April 19. The City and Suburban Handicap, run at Epsom, resulted:- —Great Scot 1, Pomamamo 2, Colorado Kid 3. Thirteen started. Won by a length; three lengths betwen second and third. DRIVERS’ AND RIDERS’ LICENSES (Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The necessity for care by secretaries of clubs in endorsing applications for drivers’ or riders ’licenses was emphasised by Mr W. Hayward at a meeting of the Board of the New Zealand Trotting Association. He gave details of two riders who had been duly licensed, but who had only one leg each. In future applicants will be .called upon to answer a question asking whether they suffer from any physical disability.
