TRAMWAY BOARD MEAIBER OFFERS TO JOIN IN CONTEST (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 24. As the result of a challenge by a tramway board member yesterday during the strike discussion, in which she took the part of the union, Mrs. McCombs has agreed to resign and contest the election, provided all the other members of the board do the same.
