SUDDEN DEATH
. <g> OF HASTINGS MAN APPARENTLY HEART FAILURE Mr John Stephenson, aged 81 years, was found dead in his whare in Brunswick street, Hastings, yesterday, death being apparently due to heart failure. The deceased was last seen alive by his neighbours, Mr and Mrs George Duncan, on Saturday, at about one o’clock when he went to their house to leave some meat to be cooked .for him. Deceased was a single man and lived alone in his whare, and when Mr Duncan took him over his meat yesterday he found deceased dead. The indications were that the old man nad expired, before the usual time of retiring to bed, on Saturday night.
