LONDON INVESTORS WARNED

The News-Chronicle says that a feature of the -week’s Dominion stocks has boon the strength of Australians owing to tho dismissal of Mr Lang and the publication of favourable trade returns. Buyers of Australians are now seeking the highest yields, and those arc given by New South Wales 4 per cents., redeemable in 1933. and 3 per cents,, redeemable in 1935.
’The paper recommends holders of New Zealands to consider a partial change into Australians, as the Economic Committee’s report shows New Zealand’s position to be serious, with a strong temptation to devalue the New Zealand pound.

The Economist recommends tin immediate war loan conversion, and urges that holders be given the choice of four-year 31 per cent bonds at £lOO, of 10-15-year 4 per cents at £lOO.
