CONCLUDING RESULTS

The Wanganui Jockey Club’s winter meeting was concluded to-day in fine weather. The track was in better order than on the opening day. The attendance was also improved. The totalisator handled £BlBB 10s against £13,551 10s, making a total for the meeting of £14,085, compared with £24,6 78 last year. Additional results: —
Purua Hack Handicap.—l Sparkling Mor (7.13) 1,2 Orby’s Choice 2, 4 La Crown 3. Won by a neck, third two lengths away. Time, 1.17 1-5.
Farewell Handicap.—l Kaihoro 1, 6 Juggle 2, 3 Equitant 3. Won by a head each way. Time 1.15 3-5.
