UNUSUAL ACTION
VOLUNTARY REDUCTION BY WIRELESS EMPLOYEES' LONDON, May 11. Ten thousand employees of Cables and Wireless Ltd., in all parts of the w’orld, signed a volume which has been presented to Sir J. C. DenisonPender on his fiftieth birthday. Every signatory thereby voluntarily suffered a reduction in wages and an increase in hours, producing an annual economy of over £200,000.
