BOWLING.
A Special meeting of members of the Bowling Club was held in the Social Hall on Tuesday evening. The newlyelccted President, Air Donald Scott, was in the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. Considerable dis mission took place on ways and means of putting the club of a sound financial footing in view of the fact that last season considerable expense was incurred in building a fine new pavilion. Eventually it was decided to raise the annual subscription of members to 3 guineas (first year members £1 10s 6d) Alcssrs C. Saunders (secretary), G. Ellison (treasurer), and A. F. r Cook wer>. appointed a committee to approach mem hers for subscriptions to pay overdraft and sinking fund on the pavilion build ing fund.
