THE FINISHES. WHITE LEGHORNS AND SILVER WYANDOTTES ON TOP. Blenheim, April 30. The New Zealand Egg-Laying Competition concluded the year’s list to-night wi'h a grand aggregate of 86.339 eggs. Ten prizes were won as follows:

The N-w Z-al-nd Utility Poultry (hubs Egg-laying Competiion at Lir coin Col ege concluded on Sunday, the results for the year being as follows :

Hi Hawke (Silver Wyandottes) 1280 J. H. Shaw (Brown Legnorns) ... 1002 R. E. M. Evans (Silver Wymdottes) 990 J, Mann (White Wyandottes) ... 983 A. Tyree (Black Orpingtons) ... 923 A. M. Price (P-uff Orpingtons) ... 903 A. H. Bnsted (Buff Orpingtons) 900 The other pons ranged down to 557, which was the lowest.

The second competition, which comprises 100 pens, will start tomorrow. highly five lots of birds Were penned to-day, and the remainder will be penned to-morrow. The new competition includes a number of imported birds, which are expected to give good laying returns.
