DIX’S GAIETY COMPANY
The very excellent company which Mr Dix is sending round the country districts appeared to a crowded house last evening. , Every member of the company is a star in his or her particular line, and judging by the frequent and hearty applause accorded each performer the audience were more than satisfied with the bill-of-fare provided. Space will not permit of our individualising the artists, but we must say that Woodville enjoyed a rare treat in the visit of this company. It was announced during rhe evening that it was Mr Dix’s intention to send a company round every three months, a state ment that was received with a marked demonstration of approval.
