Shocking Affair at Ormondville.
A case of extraordinary cruelty to a child at Ormondville is reported. A girl of 18 was tied to a bed post naked and flogged with a lash until blood flew all around. She escaped, and informed the police, her condition bearing out her statement, and proceedings have been taken against her assailant, who is either her father or guardian.
