Wellington Unionists Speak.
Wellington, This Day. The Trades and Labor Council have for. warded a petition signed by 1500 unionists to Queensland in favor of the liberation of men imprisoned daringthe strike. They have also passed a resolution of sympathy with General Booth's efforts to relieve poverty and distress at Home, but recommending him to endeavor to move opinion by the ballot box in favor of settling poor people on the deer parks of the aristocracy instead of bringing them i to the colony. At the same time the Council is careful to express an opinion in favor of the immigration of men with capital.
