By the s.s. Rangitoto Aye have Melbourne files to the 14th insfc. His Excellency the Governor, acting on the advice of his Ministry, prorogued Par liament on the Bth instant, aud will shortly dissolve the Assembly. Great preparations were making for the reception of tho Prince. The exact date when ho would arrive was not known.
