RETURN VISIT TO WAIHI ON AUGUST 21 Five months back Waibi was visited by Neville Carlsen’s Revue Company, and the bright variety of entertainment supplied on that occasion earned well-merited approval and the troupe departed leaving beliinu happy memories. A return visit is being made, a season of three nights commencing on Monday, the 21st inst. During recent months Mr Carlsen’s company has been appearing consistently in and around Auckland before large audiences. Mr Carlsen advises that the cast he, intends bringing to Waihi on this occasion is considerably stronger than on bis previous visit. In addition to the usual run of vaudeville, at least three big feature acts will be carried, including “Wilma,” billed as “The Human Frog,” “The Big Four,” and “The Versatile Ballet.” Neville Carlsen is putting all bis theatrical experience into the “Review of Revues,” which is, as the title suggests, a review of all the “hits” of other shows. There will be both quality and quantity since a total of thirty will bo employed in the presentation. Reservations and. day sales arc now available at WaiU’s, Seddon Street.
