The Lyric Ccstume Comedy Co,, which qpeus a two nighc season at the Miners' Hall oa Friday evening, may justly lay claim to bo one of the brightest and best combinations of its kind that has ever toured New Zealand. The eompany is a combination of skilled artiste, without doubt surpassing all others of Dominion origin, and establishing by its work that New Zealand contains talent of exceedingly high merit. Part-singing takes on a new meaning lo many people, as it is rendered by the Lyric quartette, the members of which have brought harmony and tone blending to a tine art. They are Messrs A. H, liipley, H. | Richards, A, McKlwam and J. W. Ryan. The combination is considerably strengthened by the presenco of Miss Jessie Bartlett, whose line contralto voir-e thoroughly delights .the audience. In addition, there is Miss Kvelyn Harvey, a solo pianiste of high accomplishmenls.iand also Miss Doreen McCiatchy, a clever danseuse.
