BOWLING.
KEESING CUP. A rink representing Westbourne journeyed to Waverley yesterday to play for the Keesing Cup, and succeeding in winning the trophy after a hard fought game. The weather'was squally, but the green was in good order, except for being on the heavy side. Ip the early stages of the game the visitors established a good lead, the scores being 15 to 6 in their favour after nine heads had" been played. Waverley reduced the gap gradually in the succeeding heads, but had to get fijur to .tie on the last head;. They only managed to notch one,, and the visitors thus secured the Cup, The teams and scores were:—Westbdurne.—C. Firmin, J. Passmore, J. Ogilvie, T. H. Nixon (sk.) 21, v. J. Terry, Matheson, Mefriman; J. Palmer (sk.) 18. The visitors were treated right royally by the Waverley Club, and thorough-, ly enjoyed the game. - ,
