(Per United Press Association.) •’ PALMERSTON NORTH, Jan 26. „A At the Magistrate’s Court Mr S.M., inflicted the full penalty of £5 against Moses Ayrton, the defeated Labour candidate at the general election, for mutilating a paper in the Public Library, on December 4th. Defendant was seen to take a clipping from the Grey River Argus, and the Borough Council took proceedings under Its by-laws.
