THE STEANE MYSTERY.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, November 18. The mystery surrounding Mrs Stqane is being widely discussed. She sometimes supported her claim to be t|je daughter of Rudolf by asserting that her son by her first marriage was heir to the Hapsburgs. It is stated that her features and general temperament bore a striking lilconess toHapsburg princesses. Deceased’s age was stated at the inquest to be 29. This, if true, makes Royal parentage unlikely, but her son’s age is 13, and it is believed her age was wrongly given. The coroner found that the deceased suicided while suffering from impulsive insanity.
