IRONFOUNDERS' STRIKE

MEN SEEK CONFERENCE WITH EMLPOYERS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received November 18, 1.15 p.m. LONDON, November 17. The men’s representatives from the Ironfounders’ Union sought a conference with the employers. It is hoped it will result in a settlement of the strike, which has lasted for seven weeks and directly involves fifty thousand men, but the number of dependent industries seriously affected is increasing daily.
