BETTER NEWS FROM THE STOCKHOD. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. PETROGRAD, April 11. It is semi-officially announced that information has been received by the War Office to the effect that developments on the Stockhod justify the hope that Germany's advance wilJ be checked. The breach in the Russian front line has been repaired. Many troops who were supposed to be lost have rejoined the colours. The reverse is attributed to agitators. The first attacks were not repulsed because the troops were engaged electing committees.
