BURGLARY IN WELLINGTON.

(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 8. The police have been informed that a burglary way perpetrated last night at the residence of Mr Y. S. B. Rogers, Flagstaff Hill, Willis Street. It is stated that Mrs Rogers went out at 8 p.m. to call on a neighbour, leaving the doors shut nut not locked. On returning a couple of hours later, she found the hack door open and on investigation it was discovered that £(F in- gold bad been ■taken from a bag in a drawer in a bedroom, and some odd silver from a hag which had been hanging on a wall. No jewellery or other valuables were taken, and liotiring was disturbed.
