DANGEROUS RAILWAY CROSSINGS
PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT TO CHRISCHURCH. What About Cuyton Street? (Per United Press Association.) CHRIBTCHURCH, July 22. Tho Hon. J. A. Millar said this morning that, if the city was prepared to build a subway or overhead bridge at Colombo Street railway crossing, the Government would contrihuo half the rost. Colombo Street is the main artery for the southern half of the city, and as shunting operations are constantly going on across the road, the crossing is a dangerous one.
