BREACH OF GAMING ACT.
AN EX-BOOKIE FINED. (Par Dnited Press Association. ) HAWERA, July 22. Magistrate Kenriek to-day gave his decision in the case in which Frank Corrigan, an ex-bookmaker, was charged with having committed a broach of the Gaming Act. The defendant had boon warned off tho racecourse at the Egniont Winter Meeting, and was charged that ho did frequent or loiter on" tho main road adjacent to the course for purposes of betting. Tho Magistrate said he was quite satisfied the defendant was thero for tho purpose stated, and imposed a fine of £3O with £6 costs.
