Private Gurrod, of Oxford University, won the silver medal in the second stage of the King's prize with 193. Trainor, a Canadian, scored 192, and Varnish, an Australian, 187. New Zealanders Hay 186, Roots 184, Mavenzio and Lovedav 182, Cox 180, and Col. Darcy 179, have qualified for the final stago.
