Sir Charles Moss, Chief Justice of Ontario, unveiled a memorial on Queenston Heights, Niagara Falls, to the Canadian heroine, Laura Secord, who, in the war of j«i2 gave the British commander warning of tlie United States troops’ whereabouts, enabling him to gain a victory. Miss Secord journeyed miles through the forest, infested with wild beasts and the enemy’s forces.
