FATALITY IN A BALLAST PIT.
TWO MEN KILLED. (Per United Press Association). TE KUITI, March 29. While working in a railway ballast pit at Lake Road Station, near Ohaupo, last evening- two men named George Larnie (aged 25) and A. Whisker (aged 34) were killed by a fall of earth. A third man named Charles Davidson, was injured. All are single men.
