CATTLE STEALING.

A DROVER PLEADS GUILTY.

(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 29.

At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, George Gordon pleaded guilty to the theft «f three heifers, and was committed to the Supremo Court for sentence. The -accused is a drover, and he had been taking a big mob of cattle up to Conway. He picked up the heifers on the way, trucked them to Addington, and had them sold on las account.
