STREET ORATORS' RIGHTS.
A CHRISTCHURCH CASE. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 23. A case was tried in the Magistrate's Court yesterday involving tho right to hold public meetings in Cathedral Square. F. E. Cooke, a Socialist, was charged that he delivered an address without having obtained tho City Council’s permission, contrary to the hy-laws. Judgment was reserved.
