CULVERDEN-WAIAU LINE.
(Per United Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH. March' 23 On Wednesday, a deputation from the Cnlverden Railway League waited on the Hon. T. Mackenzie, urging the necessity of tho 15 mile extension of the" railway to Waiau. The interview was a very/lengthy one. The Minister said tho matter was more particularly in the Department of the Hon. B .McKenzie, but was, largely one of ways and means. He could make/jjo, promises, but would lay the matter before Cabinet favourably.
